We serve grid operators such as Stedin, TenneT and Gasunie with our cloud asset monitoring platform. IoT sensors connect to the platform and generate data about the state of the grid. Our platform detects deviations and improves maintenance processes through notifications with a user-friendly interface.

We also work for producers of renewable energy, such as solar energy, wind energy and batteries. They use the Withthegrid Teleport gateway to add flexibility to the energy system and control their assets in a safe and reliable manner. For example, the Teleport is in the largest battery in the Netherlands, but also on the solar roof of farmers.

About the Job

Delivery engineers are integral to the foundation of Withthegrid, and as part of our team, you will contribute significantly to the overall success. Your responsibilities revolve around maintaining and increasing operational excellence for our Teleport solution. This will involve preparing and configuring Teleports for customers and improving and shortening this cycle.

Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will closely cooperate with the commercial team, head of operations, and the technical team. This dynamic environment will provide ample opportunities for you to apply your problem-solving skills while fostering your creativity and embracing your ideas.

What you'll do

Configure and ship Teleports to customers. This can be a single Teleport or a configuration with meters and other subcomponents.
Improve the operational process so that we can ship within 24 hours.
Support customers via (video)call when they are on-site installing the Teleport.
Carrying out the Teleport Site Acceptance Test (SAT) remotely.
Aligning with solution engineers on possibilities to improve the delivery phase of Teleports.
Communicating to existing customers about improvements in the operational process, new features and product updates.

What we're looking for?

Tech-savvy: Strong interest in technology and keeping up to date with the latest developments. You should be able to communicate with developers. Some coding experience is a pre.
Must be a self-starter: Highly motivated and willing to work with own initiative.
Curious: Ability and willingness to understand customers pain points and help that translate to improving the operational processes of the Teleport.
Business savvy: Ability to identify business needs, align solutions and quantify business beneﬁts.
Fast-paced: Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication: skills in English and preferably Dutch; must have the ability to communicate with team members and customers at varying levels, conceptually and tactically.
Strong presentation skills: for meetings with multiple stakeholders.
