Withthegrid serves grid operators like Stedin, TenneT, and Gasunie with our cloud asset monitoring platform. IoT sensors connect to the platform, generating data on grid conditions. The platform detects anomalies and improves maintenance processes with notifications through a user-friendly interface.

We also work with renewable energy producers, including solar, wind, and batteries, using the Withthegrid Teleport gateway to add flexibility to the electricity grid and control their assets safely and reliably.

About the Job

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be integral to our innovative development team, collaborating with product and design teams to develop, implement, and maintain our state-of-the-art Asset Monitoring Platform.

Your work will ensure high standards of performance, security, and user experience. You'll not only develop and maintain the platform but also lead a team of back-end and front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain back-end and front-end components of our platform.
Bear responsibility for the platform's scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with the Head of Asset Monitoring Platform and developers, understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
Write clean, efficient code and conduct code reviews.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

What we're looking for?

You should be based in the Netherlands
Highly motivated and willing to work with own initiative.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Excellent understanding of backend dynamics like scaling challenges, asynchronous processing and parallel services
Strong understanding of SQL
Experience with Kafka and Redis is preferred
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with Git, Github (or similar) and AWS (or similar).
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

At Withthegrid, the fast-growing team works closely together. Our office is in Utrecht and we expect you there on Wednesdays. On other days remote work is possible. Regardless of your location, we start each day at 9:00 AM with a virtual stand-up. During this meeting, the whole team shares their progress, keeping everyone informed and supported.

What we offer?

A gross monthly salary between €5000 and €6000 with a profit share in the company (SAR).
