Our Teleport team focuses on increasing flexibility in the electricity grid. With our Teleport Gateway, owners of renewable energy sources and batteries can smartly control their assets and better respond to fluctuations in supply and demand. This helps both grid operators and energy producers accelerate the energy transition.

As a Business Developer for Teleport, you are the primary point of contact for clients and prospects. You build relationships with owners of solar parks, wind turbines, batteries, and energy suppliers, helping them operate more flexibly and intelligently in the energy system of the future.
You work closely with our Commercial team and Solution Engineers to deliver the HEDNO certified solution and develop tailored solutions to Greek customers. With your commercial drive and technical affinity, you identify opportunities and convince prospects of the value of our technology.
Lead Generation & Sales: Build your own target list, qualify leads, engage in discussions with prospects, and work towards compelling proposals and closing deals.
Relationship Management: Establish sustainable relationships and advise prospects on how the Teleport Gateway can help them be better prepared for a future flexible energy system.
CRM and Reporting: Maintain all customer contacts and sales processes in HubSpot and report on progress.
Identifying Market Opportunities: Spot new possibilities and proactively respond to developments in the sector.
Collaboration & Learning: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to increase our market presence by creating substantive content and attending events.
5 to 10 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a technical or energy-related environment in Greece.
A keen interest in the energy transition and a desire to actively contribute.
Proactive, creative, and able to see opportunities where others might not.
Structured approach: Plan the work, work the plan.
Strong technical affinity and ability to liaise between commercial and technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Greek, capable of clearly explaining complex subjects.
Comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
Energized to build Withthegrid Greece from the ground up
Experience with CRM systems (like HubSpot) is a plus.
